5-Procrastinating
Ever heard of the saying “Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.” Or “You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again.” Or even “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle?” Honestly speaking, I only heard of the first one, the last two I searched in the net. One of those quotes was even said by Abraham Lincoln himself, isn't that amazing? Anyway, today we’ll be talking about everyone’s favorite thing to do in the world: Procrastination.
First and foremost, when you read the word ‘procrastination,’ I want the image of Spongebob saying ‘imagination’ with rainbows appearing in his hands to pop up. Got it? Okay, we can get started.
Procrastination is the act of not doing what you can do today, but instead doing it tomorrow. And we all know tomorrow means the day before the deadline or never actually doing it at all. Why do we do this? Why are we easily swayed to not do something when we have a large quantity of time in our hands? (Like me making or finally publishing 4 blog posts the day before the deadline). The answer is simple – It’s because we don’t want to do it, or it’s because we’re lazy.
What did you expect? A life changing answer? Nah. Procrastination is just a bad habit that’s really, really hard to shake off.
Here are some quotes about procrastination that I found in the net (I only chose the funny ones because they are so true):
“You can’t just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
What mood is that? Last-minute panic.” - Bill Watterson
“If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done.”– Rita Mae Brown
“One of the greatest labor-saving inventions of today is tomorrow.”– Vincent T. Foss
And the most true and funniest:
“Tomorrow is often the busiest day of the week.”– Spanish Proverb
Here’s me making a joke out of procrastination, but it’s a serious thing. I swear. I’m not laughing while typing this. This will make our society fall so no one laugh. We have to solve this. When?
Haven’t you learned anything from this blog?! Of course we’ll do it tomorrow!

(But searching for quotes about procrastinating rather than doing what you’re supposed to be doing is also procrastinating so--) but my favorite quote still stands "Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time"-John Lennon and another guy
